The Fort Garry Rotary Club hold several marathons a year and I was lucky enough to capture one of them. I felt somewhat out of breath chasing the runners but managed to get some beautiful shots in the process.
During my internship at Blueprint Inc., I created a graphic-based video describing their company and what they do. I created all graphics and chose music to go along with it. This had been my first, motion-graphics based project and I feel as though I have come a long way since.
Out of His League is a video series that was created in collaboration with Bell MTS and the Creative Communications Media Production students. We had a chance to pitch our ideas, find subjects and locations to interview and create our own narrative.
I’ve always loved the retro VHS feel. It adds some funk and can sometimes be hilarious. When a friends band, Ceilings, asked if I could create a lyric video for one of their songs, I jumped at the chance to flex my editing skills.
As one of our final projects in Creative Communications, we created a short film. We went over storyboarding and scriptwriting along with producing our idea. Working with a great group of friends, we managed to create a strange story with twists and turns.
Working in collaboration with Winnipeg Harvest, we created the Humans of Harvest video series. This is one of the videos showcasing the life of Ashlee, a Winnipeg Harvest volunteer, and illustrating how Harvest has improved her quality of life.
Using one of my favourite songs, I created a music video for a class project. For the video, I came up with a strange story set in a dreamland to go along with the lyrics of the song. I love editing to a rhythm and making up strange storylines so I absolutely loved working on this project.
